Before putting these values in the formula, we have to convert the values first.

**According to SI “1 m” equals “3.281 ft.”**

We should multiply all values by “3.281”.

Length= 0.40 * 3.281 = 1.312 ft.

Width= 0.50 * 3.281 = 1.64 ft.

Height= 0.60 * 3.281 = 1.969 ft.

**Step 3: Calculations **(Put the values in the formula)

Volume = Length (feet) * Height (feet) * Width (feet)

Volume = 1.312 * 1.64 * 1.969

Volume = **4.23665792 ft ^{3}**

**Example 3:**

Calculate the volume (in cubic feet) of a cage of the height of 1.3 yards, Length of 0.95 yards, and width of 2 yards.

**Solution:**

Length = 0.95 yards

Width = 2 yards

Height = 1.3 yards

**Volume (Cubic feet) = Length (feet) * Height (feet) * Width (feet)**

Before putting these values in the formula, we have to convert the values first.

**∴“1 yard” is equal to “3 feet”**

We will multiply all values by “3” to convert them into feet

**Conversion**:

Length= 0.95 * 3 = 2.85 ft.

Width= 2 * 3 = 6 ft.

Height= 1.3 * 3 = 3.9 ft.

Volume = 2.85 ft. * 6 ft. * 3.9 ft.

Volume = **66.69 ft ^{3}**
